started Angelpage a few years ago. I didn't plan to name my first Web
site after a dog; it
just worked out that way. One day, while I was surfing the 'net, I saw
a banner ad about buying a domain name. I clicked on it, and started
typing in names. My dog at the time, a Black Labrador Retriever named
Angel, was sitting next to me, so I started typing in "Angel" names. Then
I took a few one- and two-day HTML classes, bought a digital camera and
a scanner, and started posting photo essays.
Unfortunately, Angel had a pretty short life.
She died from cancer when she was four-and-a-half years old, in January
1999. Angel was a wonderful companion, and our friends, family, and neighbors
all loved her.
I still smile when I look at
her pages, and so do the people who visit Angelpage,
even people who never met Angel! I really enjoy receiving messages from
all of you.
From the beginning, Angelpage was an online photo album for my family
and friends, and that hasn't changed. It's not much, but like they say,
be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.
Thanks for visiting.
